As always, If all that little lot wasn’t enough, then the evening was rounded off with a Last Night of the Proms fifinale with a spectacular fifirework display and a performance by the vocal talents of top tenor Victor Michael much to everyone’s delight. Mr Phil Beck of the Wake Up Delph Committee said: “A massive thank you to everyone from Delph and elsewhere who helped put this event together.Without them it simply couldn’t happen and a huge thank you must also go to all our sponsors, as well as the groups who booked the Corporate packages and fifinally the fantastic on going support from the people and families of Delph and surrounding areas who have made this year’s party so very special, and in my opinion possibly the best yet. We had a superb line up of local and visiting artists who were all, as always, simply brilliant. How do we follow that?
