                                     In July the group joined forces with Scona to host an evening of style and colour. The two businesses invited people to come along and enjoy an evening with speakers talking about wellbeing, styling and colour. National Dispensing Optician of the Year, Sheryl Doe talked about the benefifits of wearing the right colours and how they impact on our emotions, styling to suit shape and personality.
Guests were taken on a journey of colour and style, with advice on how to discover their perfect colours with the use of a colour wheel. They discussed what colours look good with different skin, hair and eye colours. There were plenty of handy tips on what styles of clothing, spectacles and sunglasses suit different personalities, face shapes and build.
Those attending enjoyed a prosecco reception and nibbles supplied by Scona of Greenfifield. Everyone left knowing how to create the illusion of being perfectly proportioned, able to accentuate their best features and camouflflage those they’re not quite so proud of, along with a goody bag.

Having celebrated no less than 5 national and regional awards since their opening in January Allegro Optical are never out of the headlines for long. In fact, the group has recently been featured in The Times for their pioneering work in the fifield of musicians eye care.
Dubbed “The Musician’s Optician” the groups two practices in Greenfifield and Meltham are now attracting musicians from all over the world.Allegro Optical is the only optician in the UK to be registered as BAPAM (British Association of Performing Arts Medicine) Practitioner.
Since opening in Greenfifield the team at Allegro Optical has provided eye tests for over 1000 new customers and 238 free hearing tests.
