THE SADDLEWORTH MALE VOICE CHOIR is holding an “Open Rehearsal” on Wednesday 11th September from 7.30pm at The Old School, corner of Lee St. and Station Rd. Uppermill, Saddleworth OL3 6HQ.
 The rehearsal is open to men of all ages and singing abilities, even those who think they can’t sing and you don’t need to be able to read music. Come along and join us for an inspiring and fulfifilling evening of
singing, you are guaranteed a warm welcome.

New Market dates announced
 After their summer break,The Samantha Jones Trust charity are returning with their monthly markets from September at Uppermill Civic Hall.
Forthcoming dates: Sunday 8th September Sunday 13th October Sunday 10th November Sunday 8th December
All markets are free to enter from 10am to 3pm with free parking available.
They will have their trusted regular stall holders in attendance with new goods including clothing, bags, beauty, jewellery, hand made items and craft as well as local food produce.
The TSJT fundraising stall will also be there as well as the charity Caféé serving hot food and cake all day.
New for 2019 the charity are featuring the traditional Civic Hall flflea market, with a dedicated chamber room for people to pick up a bargain or two from pre-loved items.
The events help to continue to raise funds to help local children and families living with Leukaemia.TSJT have been grateful to have received such good local support and hope this continues so they can sustain the work they do to improve quality of life for children and their families.
