Mr and Mrs Wood added an extension to the rear of the property as they wanted a large family entertaining space with kitchen, dining area and soft seating. Making such a signifificant investment in their kitchen renovation meant it was vital to ensure that it was well-planned and suited to the rigorous demands of their everyday life.
While stripping away all traces of their original kitchen, our priority was to ensure the kitchen was not only functional but beautiful.
After all, it was set to be the heart of the home. The kitchen was designed in the new extension area under the lantern ceiling, giving maximum daylight over the island and breakfast bar. The superb combination of Milbourne charcoal and alabaster furniture contains an abundance of concealed Neffff appliances, pan drawers and copious storage options and the natural Halifax oak worktops add a rustic element to the kitchen.
The large patio doors provide a purposely modern counterpoint to the extension and enhance its connection with the garden.
This kitchen design adds another layer of beauty and purpose to the home whilst soothing the soul with its abundance of light. It’s now highly functional while seeming effffortless.
