LADIES – WINE, DINE AND SHOP FOR WILLOW WOOD! There are many ways to support Willow Wood, but if you enjoy fashion, shopping or lunching with friends, there are two fantastic ways to help and have a great time into the bargain. The fifirst one to put in your diary is the Fizz Fashion Show on Thursday 17 October. Held in the lovely function room at Ashton-under-Lyne Golf Club, it’s a great opportunity to update your Autumn and Winter wardrobe, as well as getting your pick of the party outfifits. Make a real evening of it with family and friends; following the fashion show there’ll be ample time to try and buy while having a cheeky drink or two - and as 10% from each sale will be donated to Willow Wood, you’ll be helping us with every purchase! And if you’d like an opportunity to show off your new outfifit, book your place for the Willow Wood Ladies’ Winter Wonderland Lunch. Following the success of last year’s event, it’s once more being held at Oaklands Hall, Hyde, on Wednesday 11 December. Elaine McConnell, event organiser for both the fashion show and the ladies’ lunch said:“The lunch is an ideal opportunity to get together with friends and relax before the frenetic activity leading up to the festive season. “There’s a delicious three course lunch followed by afternoon entertainment. It really is a good way to indulge in a little ‘me time’, and take the pressure off for the day. We’ve also got the Pop-up Fashion Boutique and the Body Shop coming, so there’ll be time to browse and maybe even fifinish off your Christmas shopping. “Everyone who attended last year had a fantastic time, and we’re expecting a sell-out occasion once again.” Tickets for the Fizz Fashion Show are just £6, and the ladies’ lunch is £34.50 – great value for a very tasty meal and a packed afternoon of entertainment. To book your place please contact the Willow Wood fundraising offifice either by emailing fundraising@willowwood.info, or ringing 0161 330 7788.
