Shows coming to Mossley and Uppermill

HANDSHAKE LIMITED are proud to present a number of shows coming to Mossley and Uppermill over the next few months.
‘Oh What a Night!’ is the show all Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons fans have been waiting for. This show combines infectious personalities, amazing vocals, slick harmonies, and even slicker dance moves. Expect classics such as Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry and December 63 (Oh What ANight). Make sure not to miss it at the George Lawton Hall, Mossley on Saturday, 29 October.
Following this, local legend and BBC Radio Manchester presenter, Mike Sweeney brings his ‘60s Classics’ to the George Lawton Hall, Mossley on Friday, 16 December. As lead singer of The Salford Jets, Mike had a string of hit singles including Who You Looking At and Gina I’ve Got A Cortina. Together with Ray Ennis from the original Swinging Blue Jeans (with hits such as Hippy Hippy Shake and Good Golly Miss Molly), this show is sure to bring you the best-loved songs of the decade.
Just ten minutes up the road, the show for all country music lovers is coming to the Uppermill Civic Hall on Friday, 11 November. Showcased by the amazing Dominic Halpin and the Hurricanes, ‘A Country Night in Nashville’ recreates the scene of a buzzing Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville, capturing the energy and atmosphere of an evening in the home of country music. Expect hits such as Ring of Fire, Need You Now and The Gambler. Some classic country, some new country, but all great country!
Only a month later, a show that Elvis fans cannot miss will rock the Civic Hall. Internationally acclaimed and multiple award-winning Emilio Santoro has won both ‘The King Professional’ World Championship and the ‘Images of the King’ World Championship in Elvis’ hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This night will bring you all of Elvis’ greatest hits in spectacular style, including Suspicious Minds, Burning Love, Blue Suede Shoes, All Shook Up and many more.
