Anna & Kate make the cut for Alopecia UK
Local sisters Anna and Kate have been growing their hair for the past 18 months or so in order to do a Sponsored Hair Cut for Alopecia UK.The kind hearted duo managed to cut off 18 inches of hair each which was then donated to The Little Princess Trust’ who provides real hair wigs to children with hair loss, while the money raised will be going to Alopecia Uk. Both of these charities are close to the ladies hearts, as they have supported a family member who has been affected by alopecia.Anna said “Despite us having our hair cut by our own hairdressers, at separate premises, we both had exactly 18 inches to donate!!”A HUGE thank you goes out to Bryn Chapman from Bryn Daniels Hair Company, who not only gave Anna her new style, but donated his fee to the fundraising
campaign.“I think he thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to finally get his hands on my locks and get creative, after 10 years of just trims.” Says Anna.“After cutting my ponytail off, I told him I was completely in his hands now, but I love it, thank you Bryn, you did a great job and I’ve received many compliments.”“A HUGE thank you also goes out to everyone else who has donated, with £580 being raised so far.
