To kickstart our 30th Anniversary we teamed up with wedding specialists, Blush Boutique of Uppermill, who are also celebrating their own 15th year in business, to bring you our most extravagant competition ever!
A chance to win a dream wedding dress to the value of £1,000!!!
Well, this certainly caught the imagination of our readers, as the many entries literally poured into our inbox.
After 6 weeks we found out the name of our lucky bride to be as the draw was finally made at Blush Boutique live on Facebook. Blush Boutique owners Jo and Dolly were accompanied by Around Saddleworth owner Paula Aicken who pulled LAUREN MARSDEN out of the hat.
On receiving the news, overwhelmed Lauren was invited to the boutique to meet the Blush team and begin searching for the dream dress for her upcoming wedding.
Lauren said “I had a lovely day yesterday! Thank you so much.”
“I can’t wait to find my dream dress, there are so many to choose from! A special thank you to my fiancé and all my friends and family who voted. I cannot believe I have won! Exciting times ahead.”
“Also, I would like to thank Blush boutique and Around Saddleworth Magazine for the opportunity to win this amazing competition.”
Dolly said, “Fabulous day meeting Lauren, the winner of our ‘Win a wedding dress’ competition. We can’t wait to see her in the dress of her dreams.”
