Women In Business: Meet Mum & Daughter Duo Lauren & Amanda

For our Women in Business feature today we meet Mum & Daughter Duo, Lauren & Amanda from The Junction.

Lauren has had the Junction for over two years now, what started as a loan venture soon turned into a family effort, and most recently following lockdown, Lauren and her mum Amanda have gone in as a full partnership.  Amanda is running things front of house and Lauren is heading up the kitchen.

Does their picture represent every day – definitely not!

But despite the blood, sweat, tears (and tantrums!) that goes into the everyday running of their business, there is always a smile at the end.

Hopefully, in 15 years, there will be three generations – Lauren’s eight-year daughter Ella is already eyeing up the head waitress position!
