For those of us not lucky enough to be visiting foreign climes this summer, then there’s plenty to do nearer to home including Greenfifield’s very own Off The Rails Comedy Club!
A little bit of the Edinburgh Fringe comes to Saddleworth on Sunday 28th July when two top comedians put the fifinishing touches to their shows before taking them to the festival.
‘Pinnacle’ is a brand-new hour of opinionated, no holds barred stand-up from last year’s Dave’s Best Joke of the Fringe Winner Adam Rowe. Adam’s natural, laid back persona combined with brutally honest, opinionated stand-up and his phenomenal ability to ad-lib make each of his performances unique, gloriously unpredictable and, most importantly, hilarious! So what is the new show about? Well, at 27 years of age,Adam is supposed to be in the prime of his life, which is a truly terrifying thought. Is this really as good as it’s going to get? Is it all downhill from here? Not if he’s got anything to do with it.
“Ridiculously good’ The Herald ‘His time in the spotlight is surely
imminent’ The Scotsman
BBC Radio 4’s cop-turned-comedian Alfifie Moore for his latest stand-up tour show. Fair Cop Unleashed is based on a dramatic real-life incident from Alfifie’s police casebook. Relive with him the thrilling ups and downs of the night a mysterious clown came to town and more than one life ended up in the balance. It was no laughing matter – but this show certainly is! Enjoy Alfifie’s unique brand of humour hilariously woven together with his personal insights into his life on the front-line of the police force.
‘Offbeat, revealing and very funny’ Daily Mail ‘Well-crafted jokes and a large dash of police gallows humour’ Daily Telegraph
Sunday 25th August gives the perfect opportunity to round off the Bank Holiday when Saddleworth stalwart Mick Ferry will be hosting the proceedings

people laugh! Having performed everywhere from Abu Dhabi to Zurich, Gordon spends at least three months of the year working his way through the Australian comedy festivals. An easy rapport with his audience backed up by bullet-proof gags makes Gordon a very safe pair of hands indeed!
MostYorkshiremen have a certain no-nonsense logic but Scott Bennett employs this as a central theme to much of his comedy tempered with a warm and friendly delivery. Scott’s wry observations and sharply written routines on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply written routines have won him tour support slots for big names such as Michael McIntyre, Jason Manford and his comedy hero, Rob Brydon.
