Congratulations Kirsty and Robert

On Friday 8th December 2017, Robert Fullerty married the love of his life Miss Kirsty Jane Travis at the stunning and panoramic setting
of The Saddleworth Hotel located high in the Castleshaw Valley. The beautiful service was officiated by Darren Bradshaw of Oldham Council, which was followed by a lavish reception within the hotel grounds.

The festive wedding party included Kirsty’s parents Julie and Gary Travis, as well as Robert’s parents Marie and Rob Fullerty. The honour of best man fell to Anthony Fullerty, Jake Fullerty and Rob Fullerty, who all did a great job.The role of usher was undertaken by Harry Travis, whilst the bride’s chief bridesmaid was Kirsty’s beautiful daughter Harper Lillie who was simply magnificent throughout the day.
The Bride wore a stunning Mori Lee gown by Madeline Gardner purchased at Blush Bridal Boutique in Uppermill. Fit for a fairy tale, the beautiful nude bridal ball gown featured a diamanté and crystal beaded embroidered bodice and full tulle skirt over a sequinned net.
Mirroring her mother’s elegant look, Harper’s dress was a deeper champagne colour and included a silk bodice with feathered sleeves and diamanté finish, complete with a full tulle skirt and fabulous lace embellished train.
In addition, the gentlemen wore stylish Larusmiani stone coloured Italian cotton suits from Next. They were classic single breasted suits and styled with a two button fastening and a natural lapel roll. They were certainly a handsome bunch to say the least as the look was finished off with Hugo Boss loafers.

The couple’s wonderful wedding cake was created by Charlotte Whittle from End of the Rainbow Cakes and it was a certain show stopper! It was a classic three tier cake, finished with champagne drip and edible gold leafing. In addition from the Liverpool Cheese company, there was a five tier Cheese cake; consisting of creamy Lancashire, ballyoak, burts blue, Cornish yarn with wild garlic, couer Neufchâtel and Capricorn goats cheese. Delicious!

During the service, the couple exchanged beautiful rings, Diamonds sourced by The Saddleworth Hotel and bespoke designed by Anthony John Baker and handcrafted by their personal jeweller .The whole day was captured perfectly by Joanne Jacobs Photography and the flowers were expertly created by the bride herself who owns Harper Floral Artistry. This included a breath taking cascading bouquet showcasing nude Sahara roses, king protea, wax flower, luscious flowing fern, burgundy calla Lily’s and anemone with textured safari foliages. There was also a smaller version for Harper.
The Wedding Car which was a Rolls Royce phantom drop-head coupe was once again supplied by The Saddleworth Hotel.
Other special mentions must go to Miss Magic for providing close magic entertainment for guests. The hotel who organised a fabulous firework display in the hotel grounds whilst listening to Take That’s “Rule the World” as the couple celebrated their first night as newlyweds. The Saddleworth Hotel owners,Anthony and Sandi, as well as Daniella and Scott were magnificent throughout, and the couple thank them for making their dream wedding a reality.
Following their big day, the couple honeymooned in North Lake Lodges in Aspatria.
The whole team at the Around Saddleworth & Tameside Magazine would like to take this opportunity in wishing Kirsty and Robert a long and happy life together.
