For those of you in need of a superb meal, and in particular, a specially prepared authentic dish with a difference, then may we just tell you about a restaurant which goes by the name of Deli Felice?
Now under new management, Deli Felice has recently been taken over by a new and enthusiastic team who are already causing quite a stir on the cobbled streets of Stalybridge.
Unknown to many this quaint looking establishment has a hidden secret which we really need to tell you about.As you enter and go down the stairs from the deli and upper cafe you are treated to a light, bright and stylish open restaurant which sits on the bank of the River Tame… and what a pleasant ambient setting it is!
Situated on Market Street, Deli Felice ticks many, if not all of the boxes when it comes to excellence. On our recent visit there, we were greeted by the warm and friendly team, who between them, have enjoyed many years of experience within the fine dining sector.
Their team have put together a menu that is traditional but modern, authentic yet innovative, which reflects wonderful diversity drawn from France, Turkey and Great Britain, meaning that Vegetarians & Non Vegetarians alike, will be spoilt for choice.
The large, elegant and cosy dining room area is similar to that of a city centre establishment, where attention to detail is paramount. Once seated by the very charming waiter’s we were shown the menu which was certainly pleasing to the eye. There are a healthy number of dishes available, including an impressive selection of starters, mains and desserts, as well as a tempting breakfast menu. Everything looked great as we eagerly watched what was coming out from the kitchen. I couldn’t help but go for the Chicken Casserole, which was full of flavour and served with home made chunky chips and fresh salad. Meanwhile my dining companion was treated to the Grilled Salmon, which again came with all the trimmings, packed with flavour and served with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
This culinary journey was certainly one to behold and remember.Thank you Deli Felice…We’ll certainly be back!
