Rock Choir Launches Keep Britain Singing Campaign!

Rock Choir Launch Their Virtual Summer Term Alongside Hitting 1 Million Households with their Keep Britain Singing Campaign!

Rock Choir, the UK’s most popular contemporary choir with over 32,000 Members recently launched their ‘Keep Britain Singing’ campaign. It is offering the public free DAILY singing sessions live via their Facebook page. In the last 28 days, they have achieved a collective reach of ONE MILLION households. With their daily dose of uplifting singing sessions, they are committed to providing this essential daily routine for the entire COVID-19 lockdown.

This coming Monday (27th) at 3 pm, the rehearsal will be led by your local Rock Choir Leader, Anthony Clegg, who looks after the Choirs in Romiley, Bolton, Middleton, Saddleworth and Oldham.

Going Virtual

Rock Choir has also opened up its virtual doors with an invitation for the general public to join its existing ‘Rockies’ to take part in its official new virtual summer term schedule starting on Monday 20th April.

Rock Choir is currently celebrating its 15th year. They are well-known for its unique formula and focus on the well-being of its Members whilst changing lives and offering amazing life-affirming opportunities to all of those involved. The Rock Choir Team taking care of its huge and loyal membership is led by Founder and award-winning singer/musician, Caroline Redman Lusher. Caroline is committed to looking after both her team and the ‘Rockies’ through the COVID-19 lockdown and beyond.

Rock Choir creates its own unique versions of feel-good and popular contemporary songs. It offers its members the chance to learn, enjoy and perform these songs with no prior musical or singing experience. With rehearsals taking place in over 400 towns across the UK, each choir enjoys a fulfilling social life following the choir’s ethos of support and nurturing and using music as a platform for health and well-being.

Not Deterred

The lockdown has not deterred the team or its Rockies. As they move to a ‘Virtual Rock Choir World’ allowing the important friendships, connections and support of its Members to continue when they are needed the most whilst the learning of new songs and harmonies takes place during live sessions led by their choir leader. With plans ahead this year to celebrate 15 years of Rock Choir at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, everyone is wanting to continue learning the new material so that when the choir comes together under one roof, everyone will be pitch-perfect!
