The Roaches Lock stands in a beautiful picturesque setting between the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and the River Tame in Mossley, Lancashire.

There is a fabulous Beer Garden overlooking the canal, it really is one of the finest situated gardens in Tameside.

They create a warm & friendly atmosphere where you can relax with a drink or enjoy fine, traditional, Home Cooked food. With their House ales Thwaites Original and Wainwright. They also provide fine guest cask ales.

“It’s nothing like usual “pub food” and it freshly home cooked. All desserts freshly made in house. Great choice for vegetarians (beautiful risotto and goats cheese cannelloni are my faves!) very kind staff.”
