Annual Saddleworth Round Table Old Folks Christmas Party Another Great Success!

Sunday 20th January saw a much loved annual event spring into action, the Saddleworth Round Table old folks Christmas party, which was once again held at the White Hart in Lydgate.

The event which has been going for 30 years is the Round Tables way of trying to reduce isolation and provide some joy to those elderly members of our community who haven’t had a family Christmas, which we often take for granted.

 

In addition to the four course Festive lunch guests were also treated to entertainment from Mossley Hollins Brass band as well as the opportunity to take part in a raffle and bingo.

A great time was had by all so lets hope the annual event continues to flourish and put plenty of smiles back on some well deserved faces. However, this isn’t a cheap event to put together, so if you are a local organisation or business who would like to contribute and ensure this great day for many continues for years to come, then please contact the Saddleworth Round Table.
