Revamped Saddleworth 3Ds Football Academy

The Saddleworth 3Ds Soccer School is expanding to become Saddleworth 3Ds Academy.

The successful Saddleworth 3Ds soccer school is joining forces with the recently established academy to become one cohesive unit with Mark Aston at the helm.

Mark has been running the club’s soccer school for a number of years and has been instrumental in providing the basis for a succession of new under 7s team for the last few years.  This season sees the club’s relationship with Mark strengthened as he takes on the older age group as well.

The new academy runs sessions on Monday evenings for 4-7-year olds from 5.30-6.30pm and 8-11-year-olds from 6.30-7.30pm. COVID regulations permitting.

All sessions will be held safely under FA and Government guidelines. The sessions for 4-7-year-olds are great for giving youngsters an introduction to football before taking part in competitions. The 8-11’s sessions are open to all. Whether they are current 3Ds players, players from other teams who want some extra training or those who are waiting to join a 3Ds team.

Everyone can take advantage of the sessions and develop their football skills.

Four U7s Teams set for 2020/2021 Season

Last season saw twenty-four six-year-olds come through the soccer school. Thus creating a club record of four new under 7 teams entering the East Manchester Junior Football League for the 2020-21 season.

This is the first time the club has had four teams at this age group. A true testament to the hard work put in by Mark throughout the season.
