The Dysarts Arms one of Mossley’s finest enjoys a fresh lease of life!
Our beloved region has many hidden treasures. But one, in particular, has been getting both locals and visitors excited on the cusp of the Mossley border.
The Dysarts Arms, on Huddersfield Road, has been taken over by well-known entrepreneur Amy Barnie. Along with partner James Strong, they are aiming to make this historic Inn a destination of choice this coming 2020.
The Dysarts Team
Amy & James have managed The Royal George, The Clarence and The Kings Arms over the last few years. Talented Chefs Dave Spencer and Chris Johnson have also joined the team. Together they have injected a fresh lease of life into the place with their combined experience.
They are currently applying their knowledge and enthusiasm into good use. Along with the rest of the team, they are working hard to make The Dysarts Arms the place to be.
Its cosy interior, outside garden terrace and private car park make it the perfect setting for either an intimate dinner for two or a private party with friends & family.
The mouth-watering new menu is brimming with traditional favourites and is certainly value for money. There is a great selection of hot and cold sandwiches available.
These include Minted Lamb & Gravy, Spicy fried chicken or Goats Cheese, Spinach and Mushroom. All served on fresh bread options with dressed mixed leaf salad.
Starter options include favourites such as Halloumi Bites, Chilli Con Carne Nachos and of course, Homemade Soup of the Day.
A selection of mains which boasts the likes of Homemade Rag Pudding, Unicorn Beer-battered Fish or the popular House Burger.
With extensive kids, desserts and Sunday Roast menus also available, a trip to The Dysarts will certainly not disappoint.
Not just Food!!
The Robinsons owned pub offers plenty of reasons to pay a visit. Supplementing its food and drink with twice-weekly quizzes, Sky and BT Sports plus the introduction of possible folk nights.
This locals favourite also has a great selection of real quality ales. These include Robinson’s award-winning ales, as well as a selection of other lagers, cider and Guinness on tap.
A warm welcome awaits seven days a week from 12noon until late.
Food available Monday to Sunday from 12 noon until 9 pm.
