On Sunday 2nd December the Saddleworth W.I. Christmas Markets are back this year…..with a BANG ???

With a new venue, (Saddleworth Rangers Rugby Club, Greenfield, Shaw Hall Bank Rd. OL3 7LD) new layout and lots of new things to offer, this years Markets will fire you into a festive frenzy!

There will be over 30 stalls to peruse and chose from, selling a vast array of Christmas presents, along with our new outdoor Food Marquee. Come and sample some of the food on offer or stock up for Christmas. Enjoy a hot chocolate and or Mulled wine in the seated area….choose from a variety of hot food on offer from the W.I. Kitchen ??, and perhaps treat yourself at the Hog Roast stall. Albion Farm are also new to our Food Marquee this year – you can watch a demo, then get a chance to make your own signature sausages! There’s brass bands playing all through the day, from Delph Youth Band and Mossley Hollins school…what’s Christmas without brass bands?! ???

A cracking Tombola and the chance to win a luxury Finest hamper kindly donated by Tesco Greenfield ???

Little kids (and big kids!) can visit Santa’s Grotto and after a little chat with the big fella himself, take a little trip….down the corridor….out onto the AstroTurf….and straight into the Reindeer Paddock! Yes, that right…Santa has brought his reindeer’s to visit us at the Saddleworth W.I…you will get the opportunity to pet and feed them and learn all about these beautiful creatures.

Pram and wheelchair friendly. Also, a special doggy shelter will be available for your pooch to chill out and have a drink, while you have a mooch round the markets! ??

We are raising funds this year for our chosen charity Oldham Mountain Rescue. The team will be joining us with their emergency vehicles and of course their very cute S.A.R. dogs, giving you a chance to chat to the guys and discover more about the fabulous work they do??

Saddleworth Rangers in Greenfield (Saddleworth Rangers Rugby Club, Greenfield, Shaw Hall Bank Rd. OL3 7LD) is going to be home to this brilliant family event, which is ideally located in the heart of the Saddleworth community. It’s also the day after the Santa Dash and the Christmas light switch on, so what better way to kick-start Christmas 2018….see ya there! ?
