As Britain gets back to work, it’s as good a time as ever to celebrate some of the female forces in business who live and work in the local area.

All this week, we will be introducing and celebrating some of the most exciting businesswomen in Saddleworth, Oldham & Tameside as they tell us about their business, how they got to where they are today and what they have achieved so far.

We will be highlighting some of the women from our community and their businesses, including, Vicky Broughton who tells us about the launch of VB Health in Grasscroft , and Sheryl Doe from the award-winning Allegro Optical in Greenfield. We’ll also meet Lisa from Grains Bar Hotel, who has taken her wedding expertise to start a new business in her home town, also Victoria from Hugo & Me the organic baby clothing store on Uppermill High Street and Jo from Rock Kitchens in Stalybridge.
